Gillian Dodson - Manager Member Services 
Gillian Dodson is Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa/NZ Childcare Association's (NZCA) Manager Member Services. She provides professional support and advice via the 0800 EC ADVICE helpline, keeps members up to date through our monthly Member Update e-newsletter. Gill also engages face-to-face with members whenever possible.
Gill has over 30 years experience in Early Childhood and held a range of teaching, administration and lecturing positions. Gill has just completed a Master of Education at Victoria University.
Gill finds working with members very satisfying, developing new services that meet the needs of members and responding to member queries ensures the best possible service to NZCA membership. The range of member benefits continues to grow as does the membership of NZCA.
For Gill, the highlight of working in early childhood is the relationships she develops. Helping members work through the everyday issues associated with running an early childhood service can be a minefield and Gill finds members appreciate a fresh perspective.
Meeting members at conference is a great way to put names to faces. Gill and the Marketing and Communications team continue to look at the services we offer members and to assess how we can best meet the needs of our extensive and varied membership.
