We invite you to join us at the 49th Annual NZCA Conference & AGM. Sat 30 June - Mon 02 July 2012.

Our 2012 conference will showcase the best international thinking in early childhood education on the beautiful campus of Otago University, in historic Dunedin.

Our conference provides New Zealand's best opportunity to discuss the key issues, initiatives and developments in ECE, drawing together participants from across the world of early childhood education. This year's theme will be of immense value to practitioners of all levels.

The conference's workshop programme will showcase the innovative and practical ways in which the sector continues to respond to the challenges of transitions and community connections.

Our keynotes for 2012 are led by Dr Liz Brooker, Senior Lecturer, Early Childhood Education, University of London. Liz is a highly sought after conference speaker. Her interests include learning in the home and community environment, transitions into preschool and school settings; and the development of cultural identity and belonging.

Dr Sally Peters is Senior Lecturer at the School of Education, University of Waikato. With a background in early childhood education and an interest in children's development, her research explores the experiences of children, parents and teachers during the transitions to school.

With this great line-up of keynotes, an impressive workshop programme and the fabulous gala dinner, 2012 promises to deliver another fantastic conference.

We look forward to seeing you there.
