Due to continued student enrolment growth in our Diploma of Teaching (ECE) programme we are reaching the TEC cap on student numbers. As a result, we are carefully managing the upcoming July enrolment.

This involves monitoring student and application numbers across the country over the next 2 months and deciding how many places we are able to offer at each of our 15 regional teaching bases.

The likely outcome is that we will only be able place a small number of students at most bases, but we will waitlist applicants for the July intake or move applications over to our January intake. There is a possibility that we may not be a July intake in some regions.

However, we encourage you to continue to submit your applications. Information on our July intake will be updated, so check back regularly.

Interviews for the places available will occur as planned in late May or early June. Applicants that have not forwarded all documentation requirements by the 1st of June will not be considered for an interview.

National Diploma in Teaching (ECE, Pasifika). Providing there are sufficient applicants we are committed to our July intake at Otahuhu and Waitakere because this programme only has a mid-year entry point. It is important that you forward your application for the National Diploma by June 1st.
